Lex
Lex is a DJ and music producer hailing from Athens, Greece. With almost twenty years in the dance music business, Alex Andrikopoulos - his real name, is nowadays considered one of the key figures of the underground local club scene. In the beginning of the millenium he started 'Radical Soundz', one of the most important record stores and a substantial body of dance and electronic music culture of Athens, until 2009 when the beloved spot closed its doors.
In such an inspired enviroment he trained and educated him self into what dance music is. Meanwhile he meets Greek DJ/producer Tolis Q and together they form 'Quantized Music', a house and techno label.
At the same time he begins to spin regularly in the city's most renowned venues and when his first music productions are issued he starts to gain serious recognition. Nex step was the creation of an established club night. He cooperates with Locke, a DJ and music promoter, and they throw a fashinating series of parties under the name 'Move'.
Nowadays Lex focuses on his music productions and DJ gigs. His versatile sound fuses elements from disco, house and techno often with a deep, soulful and organic feel to it.
