Declan McDermott
Originally from Sydney and now based in Berlin, Declan McDermott is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer whose work sits between live musicianship and electronic production. Drawing on bass, guitar, keyboards, synthesisers and vocals, Declan brings a strong musical sensibility to his productions, combining vintage instrumentation and analogue hardware with a deep-rooted love of house, soul, funk and jazz. Alongside his own releases, he has worked as a producer, composer and session musician with artists including Lovebirds, Black Loops, SIRS, Joel Holmes and Derrick McKenzie. His productions for Delusions Of Grandeur offer a warm, groove-led take on contemporary house, with an emphasis on live instrumentation, texture and musicality.
